Pop and metal, combined into one genre-bending whirlwind. Welcome to Pop Goes Metal. We do exactly what we say on the tin: turn pop songs into metal bangers. We’re talking Call Me Maybe, Pokerface, Mamma Mia and many, many more! Fronted by Emily Smurthwaite of Beatherder festival fame, you can expect raw, powerful vocals delivered over a background of thick, distorted guitars and bass, and heavy, groovy drums.
