A Safe Space for the Broken – Known for their straightforward attitude and emotional openness, OCEANDVST’s purpose is to share their passionate feelings with anyone feeling lost in the labyrinth of their own emotions.
The band’s journey began in the middle of 2017 in Thessaloniki Greece. Since then, they have become known for their relentless energy, intense melodies, and Chrysa’s vulnerable lyrics tackling current mental health issues. Crafting their sound they embraced a variety of influences including their beloved emo heroes like Paramore and My Chemical Romance, combined with the atmospheric and heavier tones of Bring Me The Horizon and Bad Omens.
OCEANDVST’s mission is to make you want to feel, connect, and be moved…Their live performances are an immersive experience, combining the storytelling of deeply personal thoughts and stories with an open attitude that instantly puts the audience in the band’s shoes.
Some of the band’s most significant moments so far include the release of their full-length album ‘FLOATING’ (2021) & debut EP ‘Escape Rovte’ (2017), along with various single releases from 2019 until today. They also had the pleasure of opening for iconic bands such as Palaye Royale & Solmeister and achieved numerous sold-out shows in their home country.
