We’re so proud to bring you this headliner! Elsa Hewitt is more of a music scientist than merely a performer. Elsa laces beautifully written, poetic wordplay through intricate time signatures, fusing electronic elements with trancey guitar arpeggios and hooks. Here she brings her unique brand of interstellar songwriting to the Fulford Arms. Fearlessly experimental, ethereally delivered songs await you…
The Pennydrops
The Pennydrops are a band formed in 2025 by two songwriters, J.J. Chamberlain and Izzy Hartley, who are based in York, UK. Fresh from their recent London show, The Pennydrops join the Autonomy line up for the first time as a full band. Their debut, Nightblindness was immediately picked up by BBC Introducing and even received a spin the day before its release. With witty yet wistful lyrics delivered by warm, interweaving voices, The Pennydrops have a genre-bending sound that is both familiar and unique, Indie-Folk with underlying tones of Grunge and Shoegaze.
Eddy’s Mistake
Probably York’s most authentic emo band, Eddy’s Mistake have a unique gift for crafting grungy but melodic songs via the medium of Katie Lou McCabe’s vitriolic lyrics. Don’t expect this particular brand of revenge to be coded, Eddy’s Mistake go for the gut, and probably also the throat. If Avril was time-warped back to the early 90s, and given Courtney as a mentor, she might just have sounded this cool. Don’t miss them!
